Obituary of Marion Greever

Marion passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and adoring husband. She was 91 years old. Marion was born in Cheyenne, Oklahoma to Glenn and Faye Combs-Cross and graduated from high school in Cheyenne. In 1941

she married Kyle W. Greever and they began their life of 74 years together of which 20 years were in the United States Air Force until 1963. They lived at many military bases including 2 years in Okinawa, Japan. After her husband’s military retirement they permanently moved to Nevada City. Marion was employed as a court reporter at Beale AFB and later worked as a secretary for the Nevada County Probation Department. Marion was loyal and loved her family above everything and would get busy cooking something whenever kids, grandkids or great grandkids visited. She was extremely selfless and always wanted to make others happy no matter the circumstances. Her family appreciated her subtle, witty humor. Marion is survived by her husband, Kyle W.
