Obituary of Major (Retired) Scott Cameron

Major (Retired) Scott Cameron went to be with his Lord on May 1, 2019.

He is the son of late Dr. Donald and Doris Cameron, of Grass Valley, CA.

Scott is survived by his loving wife April of Grass Valley; son Mathew (Sarah) Bertram of Grass Valley, CA; Army Cadet Autumn Cameron of Reno, NV; Marine Lance Corporal Donald Cameron of Washington, D.C.; Elizabeth, Joshua, and Rachel.

He was a Nevada County resident for 45 years. He attended Forest Lake Christian School, and served in the National Guard 24 years. He was a respected and dedicated teacher with Freedom Project Academy and a Civil Engineer for the Bureau of Reclamation.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend an informal viewing for Scott on May 16 from 4-7 p.m., on May 16, 2019 at Hooper and Weaver Chapel (459 Hollow Way, Nevada City, CA).

We will be having a celebration of his life service at 11 a.m., on May 17, 2019 at Auburn Grace Community Church, 3126 Olympic Way, Auburn, CA.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
