Obituary of Lillian Reese Pleski

Lillian Reese Pleski passed away peacefully in Sunnyvale, CA. She was 85.

Lillian was born on Oct. 24, 1930 in Sopris Colorado to Tony & Rose DalDegan. Lillian married her high school sweetheart Buster, and the couple welcomed 4 children, moving constantly in their early marriage. Buster travelled for a living so Lillian was the main parent who set about teaching her children how to be responsible adults. Her children remember her as a kind and patient mother who encouraged them to pursue their goals.

Lillian was an accomplished Wife, Mother and, as a single mother after Busters early death, she was an amazing provider, going back to work to ensure her children’s lives didn’t change. She was a dedicated individual who loved to ski, golf, and line-dance. She was an active and dedicated member of her church and loved her last years in Penn Valley.

Lillian is survived by her children, Tonni LeBaron, Bill (Diane) Reese, Steve (Leslie) Reese and Rob (Christine)Reese; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sisters Mary Borga, Carol Boelts; brother Tony DalDegan. She is preceded in death by her first husband Buster Reese, and second husband Bob Pleski; siblings, John, Paul & her twin Pete DalDegan.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 1:30 p.m., June 23 at Sierra Presbyterian Church. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Lillian’s life.
