Obituary of Leonora Lani Lipe

Leonora Lani Lipe of Grass Valley went to God on Sept. 29, 2015, peacefully in her home. She was 82.

A native of Mountain View, Hawaii, she was born Jan. 3, 1933, daughter of John Carlos and Mary Baptiste. She met her husband John Lipe in 1967 and later married him in 1969.

She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 3982 in Santa Clara, California. She enjoyed traveling in her RV.

Leonora is survived by her husband John; son Richard; daughters, Molly, Leonora, and Vera; sister Yvonne Jackson of Colorado Springs, Colorado; many nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father John, mother Mary, two brothers, three sisters, son Wilfred, daughter Janie Lee Langley and grandson Frankie Montanez III.

Arrangements are under the care of Chapel of the Angels Mortuary.
