Obituary of Jim Chambers

Jim Chambers, along with lifelong friend Ken Murray, started a chapter of the Sierra Club at Magnolia high school. That love for nature and exploration guided him with a tent and sleeping bag.

He hungered for learning and experiencing culture, history and the tastes of all places. He loved his family deeply and will forever be celebrated by his wife Ann Chambers, his sons Colin (Savannah) Chambers and Ryan (Marine) Sutton, his brother

Bill (Esther) Chambers, nephew Kris Chambers, grandsons Harmon and Elyas, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

We will celebrate Jim on Sunday, May 26 from 12–2pm at Condon Park in the Love Building in Grass Valley. It will be a potluck, so please bring an appetizer or food you would like to share. Any thoughts you would like to share will be warmly received.

Carpe Diem
