Obituary of Ida Madalyn Moyle

Ida Madalyn Moyle passed away peacefully in her home on the unforgettable occasion of 9/11 in the presence of her dedicated caregivers Katie Jones & Mereani Buardromo. Ida Madalyn Moyle Ne. Norick, better known to her family and friends as Bobbie, is remembered for her good sense of humor, her quick wit, and her one liners that always made us laugh. Bobbie met the love of her life, Russell Moyle, in Nevada City where they went on many dates to Lake Olympia and danced under the stars on a floating dance platform. Bobbie married Russell in 1946 and they remained married for over 69 years. They lived in several locations since Russell’s naval career took him all over the world but they returned to Nevada City where they built their beloved retirement home. Bobbie and Russell traveled extensively in the U.S. as well as abroad, they especially enjoyed their annual trips to Mendocino with longtime friends; caravanning in their motorhomes to their favorite coastal destination. Bobbie loved hosting her “club” friends in her home. She will be missed by her dear friends Thelma and Doris. Bobbie is survived by her niece Joanna (Dan); her nephew Mike (Brenda); her cousin Margaret (Steve); her extraordinary caregivers David Lindsey and Mereani Buardromo, her amazing nurse Andrea Skeen, and her devoted best friends Katie and Ross Jones, as well as her neighbors Patty and David Rogers. The family wishes to express our deepest gratitude to Hospice of the Foothills for the compassionate care they provided Bobbie.
