Obituary of Gayle Keith Robles

Gayle Keith Robles passed away on March 8, 2016 after a sudden and brief illness. She was 67. She was a 1966 graduate of Nevada Union High School. Gayle was also a graduate of Sierra College, Fresno State, graduating Suma Cum Laude in English, and Pepperdine University where she earned a masters degree in school administration. Gayle was a lifelong educator, touching the lives of students in kindergarten through college, especially those with learning disabilities or in need of advocacy. She met Fernando while studying in Mexico, they soon married and welcomed son Scott in 1991. Gayle enjoyed all forms of literature, water sports, travel, skiing and loved being a soccer mom.

She was preceded in death by her parents Bud and Irma Keith; her mother passing just 3 months before her own passing. She leaves behind husband Fernando; and son Scott of Citrus Heights; sister Leslie Keith (Cornell) Freeman; nephews Keith and Tyler Freeman all of Nevada County; life-long friend Jean Hering; and numerous friends and Robles family members in the United States and Mexico.

There will be a graveside memorial, following interment at 2 p.m. on June 16, 2016.
