Obituary of Donna Marie Lewis

Donna Marie Lewis lost her battle with Parkinson’s on July 18, 2015, in Grass Valley, California, after many long years we were blessed to have her in our lives.

She was born on Oct. 7, 1937 in Rio Vista, California, to parents Frank and Madeline Vengley. She attended Rio Vista High School and later went on to work for the USDA and retired on July 4, 1996. Donna was involved in Eastern Star and Rainbow Girls for over 33 years. She enjoyed crochet, painting and Bingo. Donna was a loving mother and grandmother.

Donna is survived by sons, Ray Jr. (Lorraine) Lewis of Auburn California, Christopher (Beth) Lewis of Grass Valley, California; and daughter Lorene (Carl) Bowling of Lodi, California.

She was preceded in death by parents, Brother, sister and son James Lewis.

We would like to thank the staff at Golden Empire Nursing and Rehab Center for many loving years of care.

Mom we will miss you.
