Obituary of Bryon Adam Peter

Bryon Adam Peter passed away in his sleep on June 19, 2015. He was 35.

He was born on Jan. 11, 1980. He lived in New Hope, Pennsylvania until moving to Los Angeles for his teenage years. In 2003, he moved to San Francisco where four years later he would meet his soul mate and future wife, Ann Marie Korte. The two spent the next three years in the City before moving their two dogs, Ozzie Bear and Stella, to Nevada County.

Whether you were a part of his close-knit and loving family, shared philosophical discussion with him, were the victim of one of his legendary practical jokes, danced the night away with him, explored nature alongside him, joined him on one of his epic adventures, or were just affected by his infectious energy and unique view of life, Bryon had a way of connecting to all who crossed his path. Always creating, exploring, pondering and living, he did so freely and with an unrestrained nature that made for a lifetime of adventures, even if it was a lifetime too short for those of us left behind.

Bryon is survived by his wife Ann Marie Korte; mother and father Yvette and Lee Mclaren; sister Lynzy Peter; and nephew Brandon Peter.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. on August 1 at the Haven Underground located at 226 Broad St., Nevada City.
