Obituary of Allan Nystrom

Allan Nystrom lost his fight with cancer on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016, in the privacy of his own home. Allan was 65 years old.

Allan was the third of five sons born to Larry and Ruth Nystrom on Jan. 19, 1951 in Hayward, CA. He was a very loving husband and incredible supportive father. He spent his time with his family at the lake, waterskiing, camping, bowling and golfing. Allan was married to his wife Terry Nystrom for 42 years. He was an incredible mechanic and the owner of Mountain Auto Service for over 30 years.

He is survived by his loving wife, Terry Nystrom; three daughters Regina Wise, Sarah Johnson, and Janell Haley; son-in-laws, Clayton Wise, and Ray Johnson; six grandchildren, Tatum Wise, Jesse Pernack, Shelby Nelson, Colby Wise, Megan Sampsel and Wyatt Haley. Allan was preceded in death by his daughter Janine Nystrom and grandson Lyle Haley.

Allan’s generous, kind nature and his joyful, audible laugh will be missed by all.

A Celebration of Life will take place from 1 to 5 p.m., on Saturday, Oct. 15, at the Alta Sierra Country Club.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
