Obituary of Albert Earl Dawson

Albert Earl Dawson of Grass Valley passed away Nov. 13, 2015. He was 67 years old. Earl was born May 29, 1948, and raised in Ogden, Utah. He was the son of George and Etta Dawson. Earl attended Weber State University before moving to California. He was a talented artist. He loved to golf, and got two hole-in-ones. He was an outdoorsman, who loved to fish and hunt. Earl had a big heart for animals as well. He had the best sense of humor and was always a big jokester. Earl is survived by his two children, James Dawson and Ivy (Matt) Grimes; and one grandchild, Owen Grimes. He is also survived by his mother Etta Dawson, brother George (Shonna) Dawson; sisters, Karen (Gibbs)

Bullen and Florence (Darold) Rawson, as well as many nieces and nephews and many great friends. Earl is preceded in death by his father George Dawson and sister Marietta "Bunny" Nelson. It brought him so much joy to realize how many

great friends were out there supporting him when he got sick. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
