Mildred Johnson

Mildred Vieta Johnson passed away peacefully at Quail Ridge July 31, 2013. She was 86.

No service will be held per her wishes.

Mildred was born Sept. 19, 1926, to Boyd and Rena Cooper in rural Arkansas. She was one of eight siblings. She was married to her loving husband E.J. for more than 50 years.

She loved gardening, cooking, playing cards and traveling across the USA with her husband.

Mildred was a loving mother, supportive wife and an excellent homemaker.

She is survived by her son D.J. Johnson of Grass Valley, Calif.; daughter Linda Miller of Sacramento, Calif.; two sisters, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband E.J. Johnson; her mother and father, and six of her siblings.

Funeral arrangements under the care of Hooper & Weaver Mortuary.
