Mary Mayworm

Mary Belle Mayworm died June 30, 2013, with her family by her side. She was 94.

A celebration of life will be July 9, 2013, at the home of Darwin and Barbara Senum in Chandler, Ariz.

Born in Kentucky, she lived most of her adult life in Grass Valley, Calif. She moved to Arizona in 2006 to be close to her granddaughter and great-grandchildren.

Mary is survived by her sister, Dorothy Bohnenkamp, of Island City, Ore.; brother Harold Thompson of Cedar City, Utah; granddaughter Barbara (Mayworm) Senum and her husband, Darwin; her treasured great-grandchildren, Jessica (Senum) Perry and Chad Senum, all of Chandler, Ariz.

She was predeceased by her husband, Laurence H. “Pops” Mayworm; and son Lawrence H. “Junior” Mayworm.

Mary’s most special memories revolved around serving others. She often spoke of working at the Nevada City and Grass Valley hospitals, and she spent much of her free time over the years supporting the Mayworm auto mechanic businesses and racing endeavors.
