Chuck Tuttle, a 25 year resident of Grass Valley died at his home on February 27, 2013 at the age of 81.

Funeral services are on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 beginning with a viewing at 10:00 a.m. at the Nevada City Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 615 Hollow Way, Nevada City, CA followed by a celebration of his life at 11:00 a.m. Immediately following the funeral service, Chuck will be buried at Hooper & Weaver Cemetery, adjacent to the church.

Prior to retiring in Grass Valley he lived in Los Angeles. He served as a volunteer in many church and charitable organizations locally since retiring from the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Aina Plummer Tuttle; children, Charles A. Tuttle, Kathleen Timme, Wayne Tuttle; and step children Karin Gostage, Rhonda Plummer, Richard Plummer, Charlyn Colbert; along with 25 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife of 50 years, Jackie Tuttle February, 2000.
