NU arts benefit dinner tonight at Miners Foundry

The three-day art exhibit of the Fine Arts Department of Nevada Union High School concludes tonight at the Miners Foundry Cultural Center with “An Evening for the Arts” benefit dinner.

The art exhibit, featuring the works of Nevada Union students, alumni and professionals, is open today from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. All works are for sale in a silent auction.

The benefit dinner includes flamenco music and dance with GoPaul Slavonic and Drea Pacot. Dinner begins at 6 p.m. and entertainment follows two hours later.



Tickets range from $30 to $150. Proceeds go toward instructional materials and supplies for the high school’s department. The Foundry is at 325 Spring St., Nevada City. Call Nevada Union photography teacher David Arnold at 273-4431, extension 262, with any questions.
