Cooper’s of Nevada City welcomes back Harper, a harmonica and didgeridoo player from Australia who received the Australian Blues awards in 2004 for “Male Vocalist of the Year,” “Song of the Year” and “Album of the Year.” During his West Coast tour, Harper performed as guest harmonica player with the group Journey for the final shows of the group’s 30-year anniversary tour. Now, with his band in tow, Harper is celebrating his new Blind Pig Record release, “Down to The Rhythm.” The show starts at 8 tonight; admission is $5. Call Cooper’s at 265-0116.
