Volunteers sought for California CareForce

A group of Nevada County people are volunteering to help prepare for the free two-day medical, dental and vision clinic being brought to Grass Valley by the nonprofit California CareForce on Nov. 14 and 15.

A good number of people are expected to show up to the two-day event in November, which will be at the Grass Valley Veterans Memorial Building.

Members of the community, other organizations and religious affiliates, among others who may be interested to help local people in need of these health services, are encouraged to come and check out the next preparatory meeting from 6 to 8 p.m. on May 13 at the Community Room of the BriarPatch Co-op in Grass Valley.

For additional information about the two-day medical, dental and vision clinic mission or the California CareForce and its programs, visit http://www.CaliforniaCareForce.org or go to http::www.facebook.com/CaliforniaCareForce.
