Volunteer for Nevada City’s first annual spring cleaning

Nevada City will be full of volunteers who will turn out to scrub, repair and repaint storefronts, in addition to removing graffiti and painting curbs.

Nevada City’s first annual spring cleaning will be from 8 a.m. to noon on March 31 through April 2. Volunteers will focus on downtown Nevada City and Pioneer Park. Volunteers are encouraged to join in and earn “TimeBank” hours, where good deeds become exchangeable. The spring cleaning is a joint effort, organized by the City of Nevada City, Hour Nevada County and various community organizations and volunteers.
