Tri-Counties CEO to talk

The leader of Tri-Counties bank will address one of the county’s most prominent business organizations.

During the monthly meeting of the Economic Resource Council Thursday, Rick Smith, CEO of Tri-Counties Bank, which took over Citizens Bank in the wake of the institution’s financial struggles.

Smith will address the second quarter earnings of Tri-Counties along with discussing how the losses of Citizens Bank affects the current operations at Tri-Counties said Judy Hess, Tri Counties Bank Business and Community Development Officer.

Discussion of the current economic outlook for western Nevada County will also be presented at the meeting, Hess said.

The ERC meets in the downstairs portion of the Board of Realtors office at 336 Crown Pointe Circle, Grass Valley at 7:30 a.m. Thursday.
