Traffic controls in effect on Dorsey Drive

The city of Grass Valley, in partnership with Nevada County, Nevada County Transportation Commission and Caltrans, is currently working on the first stage of the Dorsey Drive Interchange Project, which will convert the existing Dorsey Drive overcrossing of Highway 20/49 in Grass Valley to a full compact diamond interchange. The project also includes improvements to Dorsey Drive between Main Street and Pampas Drive, as well as the modification of a portion of Joerschke Drive to a one-direction roadway to accommodate the southbound highway off-ramp traffic.

Beginning Monday through Friday, Dorsey Drive will be subject to traffic control for road/bridge work. The traffic control system will utilize one way traffic control between the hours of 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. (weather permitting). Every effort will be made to accommodate motorists in a timely manner; however, delays of up to five minutes should be expected. Please observe all construction signs and the instructions from onsite personnel.
