Tickets on sale for Lions’ Crab & Shrimp Feed

The Higgins Diggins Lions Club will host their annual Crab & Shrimp Feed on Feb. 12 and 13 at Higgins Lions Community Center, 22490 E. Hacienda Drive in Grass Valley (1 mile past Bear River High School). Served family style, the meal includes all-you-can-eat cracked crab, shrimp, pasta with meat sauce, garlic bread, salad and dessert for $45 per person. Beverages will be offered at the no host bar. Doors open at 5:30, with dinner served at 6:30 p.m. For tickets call 530-268-3782 or email

Lions Clubs International is the world’s largest service organization with over 1.4 million members in 110 countries and geographic areas.

Their motto is “We serve” and they do so by providing needed services and financial support to individuals, groups and organizations.

All proceeds from Lions’ sponsored fundraisers are donated back to their communities, no funds from the public are used for administrative expenses. Higgins Diggins Lions Club has served the South Nevada County area since 1978.

The club built, and continues to manage and maintain the 4,000 square foot Higgins Lions Community Center and offer the hall for groups and individuals for public and private gatherings and events.
