Superintendent to speak on Nevada County’s Measure B

Dr. Louise Johnson, superintendent of Nevada Joint Union High School, will be the special guest speaker at the Nov. 5 breakfast meeting of the Nevada County Democratic Women’s Club. Johnson will speak about Nevada County’s Ballot Measure B and the needs of the various high school facilities. Also speaking will be Trevor Michael, running as the incumbent for Trustee Area 3 of the Nevada County Board of Education. The meeting will be from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Nov. 5 at Margarita’s Restaurant, 988 Plaza Drive in Grass Valley. The cost is $15 and includes a full breakfast. The Nevada County Democratic Women’s Club is a chartered member of the Nevada County Democratic Party and meets the first Saturday of each month.
