Star Wars Reads Day at Madelyn Helling Library Saturday

Fans of reading and a certain galaxy far, far away are invited to join the Madelyn Helling Library for Star Wars Reads Day from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today. Dress up as your favorite “Star Wars” character (or your own character in the “Star Wars” universe) and make a light saber, create “Star Wars” character origami or draw a Darth Vader thumb doodle. There also will be face painting and a drawing to win “Star Wars” materials. And don’t forget to check out a “Star Wars” book. There will be brand new titles available to check out.

This event is free to the public, and no advanced registration is required. For questions about the program, contact the Madelyn Helling Library at 530-265-1538.
