Panel discussion on marijuana proposition

The League of Women Voters of Western Nevada County is inviting the public to its upcoming speakers panel and discussion, “Marijuana: Prop 64 And Beyond” from 10 a.m. to noon on Oct. 8 at the Peace Lutheran Church in Grass Valley. The panel will include Fran Cole, attorney; Forrest Hurd, Safe Access Saves Children’s Lives; Patti Smith, Nevada County chair for Safe Access, and Amy Irani, director, Nevada County Environmental Health Department. Presentations will be followed by a question and answer session where audience members may submit written questions for panel members. Light refreshments will be available.
