Open house to benefit Sammie’s Friends

Wolf Mountain Day Spa will participate in the Downtown Grass Valley Association’s Holiday Open House Saturday, with a special emphasis on helping Sammie’s Friends Animal Shelter. From 1 to 3 p.m., shelter dogs will be available for adoption at the spa. Wolf Mountain will donate $5 to Sammie’s Friends for every dog or cat that gets adopted on Saturday, whether at the spa or at the shelter located at 14647 McCourtney Road in Grass Valley.

Saturday also kicks off Wolf Mountain’s “Let’s Give” holiday campaign that again benefits Sammie’s Friends by donating $1 for every gift card that is purchased through Dec. 24.

Wolf Mountain’s open house is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. Light refreshments will be served. Guests can make donations to Sammie’s Friends during the day. Wolf Mountain Day Spa is located at 110 E. Main Street, Grass Valley. For more information, visit or call 477-2340.
