Newcomers Club spreads holiday cheer

Members of the Cover Girls Book Club have been meeting for more than 14 years. The club is part of the many activity groups sponsored by the Nevada County Newcomers Club. The club is open to all women living in Nevada County — they do not have to be new to the area. Above, members met for a recent holiday luncheon. Back Row from left are Barbara Swisher, Judy Kinney, Bobbie Whiting, Joan Elmore, Kay Kerr, and Patricia Graves. Front row from left are Bonni Waite, Sally Brackett, Mona Ruegg, and Jan Westmore. For more information on the club, call 530-478-1114 or 530-470-9191.
