Nevada County named a ‘Top digital county’

Nevada County was chosen as a “Top Digital County” for county’s with 150,000 population or less by the The Center for Digital Government and the National Association of Counties.

The annual survey evaluates how counties are progressing toward the goal of becoming fully digital. The Center for Digital Government selects the top respondents and awards them the honor. According to a release, these leaders in the digital transformation of government have spearheaded innovative initiatives that save tax dollars, increase efficiency, and enhance transparency, cybersecurity and citizen engagement.

The survey also gives counties the opportunity to showcase how they perform in key areas, including transparency, mobility, citizen engagement, collaborative initiatives, cybersecurity, efficiency and resiliency, the release stated.



Nevada County is a customer of Laserfiche, which said it serves many of the winning counties.
