Medicare informational meeting Wednesday

Medicare is confusing. Timelines, deadlines and penalties, as well as local choices and benefits, are important to understand. Nevada County seniors joining Medicare and the permanently disabled are invited to an open community meeting 2 p.m. Wednesday.

The meeting will be held at Lumberjack’s Restaurant at 2075 Nevada City Highway in Grass Valley (across from the Fowler Center). The meeting is free of charge and will be conducted by Bill Anderson, who serves hundreds on Medicare in Nevada County. Anderson is a member of the 2013 ICA Council, the top 1 percent of licensed independent career agents in the country.

Anderson lives here in Nevada County and is authorized to provide Medicare Advantage, Supplements and drug plans and is certified, licensed in five states and is experienced with Medicare choices throughout California.
