Mark your calendar: 12th annual Santa Paws Holiday Auction
AnimalSave is proud to present the 12th annual Santa Paws Holiday Auction from 6 to 10 p.m. Nov. 17 at the Miners Foundry in Nevada City. This year, the event features a silent auction, a live auction, hors d’oeuvres, desserts, a no-host wine and beer bar and live music.
Proceeds support AnimalSave’s many important programs that transform the lives of dogs and cats in the community through humane education, affordable spay and neuter services and the act of finding loving homes for foster animals.
“We appreciate the support we’ve received from our many auction sponsors and donors. Our top sponsors include The Union and Dr. Mimi Vishoot and Steve Nicholson of Pleasant Valley Veterinary Center. Our generous donors make it possible for us to offer a wide variety of auction items — something for everyone,” said Carolyn Niehaus, executive director.
Highest bidders will go home with restaurant and hotel packages; fabulous local shopping sprees; spa, beauty and health services; golf passes; art and jewelry; local wine experiences; and work by other local artists. Also offered will be the highly popular and sought-after Tim The Tree Man service, paintings by Ron Rodecker and Sandy Lindblad, metal art by Stacey Lamothe, car detailing by A Finer Detail and auto maintenance by Plaza Tire and Auto to name a few. For your pets, you’ll find animal supplies and feed, veterinary services, dog training, pet sitting and body work to soothe and comfort them.
Melisa Mistler, owner of M3 Mall, will emcee the evening and perform the live auction. Hor d’oeuvres will be created by local epicurean Antonio Ayestaran, and entertainment will be provided by pianist Antoinette Filanowska. Admission to the auction is $22 in advance or $25 at the door. Advance tickets are available at AnimalSave Thrift and Treasures benefit store and BriarPatch Co-op in Grass Valley. They will also be available at the Miners Foundry the evening of the event.
Help AnimalSave help the animals by attending the Santa Paws Holiday Auction Nov. 17. Enjoy a wonderful evening of food, wine and entertainment and go home with one-of-a-kind auction items.
