‘Lego Camp’ over spring break in Nevada City

Nevada City Parks & Recreation is working with Play-Well TEKnologies to offer a camp during spring break, March 25 through 29. Play-Well TEKnologies provides programs designed to introduce principles and methods of engineering, architecture, and science to kids ages 5 and up utilizing kits containing tens of thousands of LEGO®. The force is strong in these classes. Young Jedi will explore galaxies far, far away and engineering principles right in front of them. Projects include things like X-Wings, AT-AT Walkers, Pod Racers, Star Destroyers, Cloud Cities, settlements, and fortresses. 5 to 7 year olds will meet from 9 a.m. to noon to explore Jedi Engineering. Older children, ages 8-12, will become Jedi Masters in the afternoon. For registration information contact Nevada City Parks & Recreation at 530-265-2496 x129.
