Learn more about the Grass Valley Odd Fellows Lodge Sept. 18

The Nevada County Historical Society’s Speaker Night will host a presentation on Sept. 18 to learn more about the history of the Grass Valley Odd Fellows Lodge #12. Tim Brown will provide a brief history and photos of the lodge, and the Odd Fellow cemetery that the lodge has managed as located on Kidder Street in Grass Valley since the early 1800s.

On Sept. 21, the lodge will be open for tours. The presentation will at 7 p.m. at the Madelyn Helling Library, 980 Helling Way, Nevada City. The Nevada County Historical Society offers free presentations about local history on the third Thursday every month.
