Last Chance to Buy Girl Scout cookies Until 2016Local Girl Scout Cookie Program ends on March 22

Customers only have a few more days left this year to pick up their favorite Girl Scout cookies, as the sale will conclude on March 22. Buying Girl Scout Cookies funds the activities designed to build girls of courage, confidence and character.

To find a nearby cookie booth sale, customers can visit the “cookie locator” at http://www.girlscoutcookies.org. The Girl Scout Cookie Finder app is also free to download for Android and iPhone users. This year, cookies are $5 per package.

During the last few days of the Girl Scout Cookie Program, customers can support a local soldier, veteran or a food bank by purchasing the packages and dropping them in the Girl Scout troop’s “Project Thank You” basket. The troop will either donate them to the American Red Cross Capital Region Chapter to be distributed to V.A. hospitals and other armed forces facilities, or donate them to local food banks or other charities.
