Help for Nevada County children of families with substance use disorders

Community Recovery Resources (CoRR) will host Jerry Moe, the National Director of the Children’s Program at the Betty Ford Center, as their guest speaker for the next presentation in their Recovery & Wellness Series to be held on July 20. This presentation is specifically geared towards parents, adult family members, providers and professionals who work with children ages 7 through 12 who have family members dealing with substance use disorders. Moe will share his extensive knowledge and experience and teach attendees how to help these children identify and express their feelings, develop self-care skills and deepen communication with their parents/caregivers.
