‘Greatest Generation’ honored

Atria Grass Valley hosted a celebration on Aug. 16 in honor of National Spirit of ‘45 Day. This congressionally-recognized national day of remembrance was created by the Spirit of ‘45 nonprofit organization to honor the men and women of America’s “Greatest Generation.” This year included wreath laying ceremonies around the country. Pictured above from left, presenting a wreath are Ken Farmer, American Legion treasurer; Neal Evans, American Legion chaplain; David Cox, president of American Legion Riders; and American Legion commander Roger Haines.
