Gold Country Stage free fare day November 14; rides to free health clinic

The County of Nevada Transit Services has received a Low Carbon Transit Operations Program (LCTOP) air quality grant that provides public transit funding assistance for projects that help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve mobility. To support this objective Gold Country Stage will provide a system wide free fare day on all routes on November 14.

All routes will be operating their normal schedules, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with free fares for all.

Bus schedules are available in the Gold Country Stage Rider’s Guide, at http://www.goldcountrystage.com or call the office 530-477-0103, ext. 0 for travel planning information.



For people traveling to the CareForce free health care clinic at the Grass Valley Veteran’s Memorial Hall, a Route 3 bus stop will be available at South Auburn and Race streets hourly, stopping at 20 minutes past every hour from 8:20 a.m. through 4:20 p.m.
