Gather the Women hosts ‘Continuing the Conversation of Women in Leadership’

Nevada County women are invited to “Continuing the Conversation of Women in Leadership,” a discussion facilitated by Gather the Women of Nevada County. Thirty women began the conversation in January with “What would it look like if women were more involved in politics?” and “What would a women’s platform look like?”

Our Feb. 27 meetup will be at Valentina’s Bistro & Bakery, 1041 Sutton Way in Grass Valley. The event will build on the outcomes of the discussion and educate women on local leadership positions. The program will be from 6:15 to 8:30 p.m. The focus issue of the women’s platform will be ending violence against women. Women from all political parties are invited to unite for greater effectiveness in creating solutions.

Gather the Women is a catalyst for personal, community and global transformation. Cofounder of Gather the Women Marilyn Nyborg says, “We are not here to change your mind on issues but to find common interests for women that we can unite on and take back to our groups, political parties and friends for discussion and action.”

What is Gather the Women? Gather the Women Global Matrix is a living network and an invitation … local, national, international … for women and women’s organizations that share a belief that now is the time to activate the incredible power of women’s wisdom on a planetary scale.
