Free reading help for adults at library

Read Up is a free tutoring service at Nevada County Library for English-speaking adults seeking to improve their reading, writing and math skills. If you have a relative, friend or employee who could benefit from strengthening those skills, please contact the library at 530-470-2772. Students and volunteer tutors meet weekly on the day and time of their choosing, and all study materials are free. Library staff members have said that the confidential, one-on-one tutoring method has proven very successful in helping people learn material they may have had difficulty with previously.
