‘Fracking’ topic of informational meeting in Grass Valley

“Stop Fracking In California,” is the title of a free, informational public meeting at 7 p.m. Feb. 16 at the Unitarian Universalist Community of the Mountains, 246 S. Church St. in Grass Valley. All are welcome.

Arranged through the Nevada County Climate Change Coalition, the meeting is designed to provide critical information on what fracking is (“hydraulic fracturing”), why it is so dangerous to public health and the environment, and what actions can be taken to end the practice in California.
