Foothill Children sing at Cornish fest

Members of the Foothill Children’s Chorus will sing at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, during Cornish Christmas. Hear their ethereal voices sing traditional carols from the stage in front of Ashley Furniture, 161 Mill St., in downtown Grass Valley.

Friday’s free performance precedes the choristers’ full concert set for 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at Peace Lutheran Church, 828 W. Main St., near downtown. Tickets cost $15 for adults, $5 for children, and are available at The Book Seller in downtown Grass Valley, by emailing foothillchildrenschorus10@gmail.com or calling (530) 272-6566 .

The chorus is inviting all children interested in singing to audition. Appointments are being taken now for auditions in January, in preparation for the chorus’ spring concert. Call Musical Director Catherine Dowling, (530) 272-8848 ; scholarships are available.
