Family law fast track “trauma informed” training for attorneys

The Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Coalition is offering a free workshop Saturday, with limited civic commitment, for attorneys interested in trauma informed advocacy. Lunch is included. Attorneys who complete this training and volunteer at the legal clinic a minimum of three times a year will be included on the DVSAC direct attorney referral list. For those attending for the MCLE units, the cost is $75. The workshop is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18 at Nevada County Contractors’ Association, 149 Crown Point Court, Suite A in Grass Valley. Please RSVP by calling 530-272-2046.
