“Controversial Movie Night” monthly at county library

Madelyn Helling Library is now hosting free “Controversial Movie Night” from 7 to 9 p.m. on the first Tuesday of every month. The goal of the film series is to include exciting, informative, important or controversial movies every month at the Nevada County library. Attendees are encouraged to become part of the movie selection committee, and help guide discussions around films each month. The films are free and open to the public. Children 13 and over may attend if accompanied by an adult. Madelyn Helling Library is located at 980 Helling Way in Nevada City.
