Computer Learning Center hosts free user’s group

The Gold Country Computer Learning Center is a 501C3 nonprofit that provides a wide variety of classes and private tutoring for all levels of computer users. We are presenting a free User’s Group from 10 a.m. to noon Feb. 8.

Volunteer Andy Buffington will present a very timely topic, “Stay Safe Using the Internet.” He will help us understand online security. This discussion will make us become aware of a new trend of cyber security risks, whether using a computer, smart phone or tablet, as there are many new potential risks from the Internet. We meet at Gate 2 of the Fairgrounds on McCortney Road in the Ponderosa Hall. For information, visit us at GCCLC.com or call 530-273-0497.
