Computer Center to host free users group

The Gold Country Computer Learning Center is a 501-C-3 nonprofit that provides a wide variety of classes and private tutoring for all levels of computer users. By request, we are repeating a free users group from 10 a.m. to noon March 8. Volunteer Andy Buffington will present a very timely topic: Stay Safe Using the Internet. He will help us understand online security. This discussion will make us become aware of a new trend of cyber security risks, whether using a computer, smartphone or tablet, as there are many new potential risks from the Internet. The group meets at Gate 2 of the fairgrounds on McCourtney Road in Ponderosa Hall. For information, visit http://GCCLC.com or call 530-273-0497.
