Charter School Foundation fundraiser this Friday

The Grass Valley Charter School Foundation presents its annual “Friday Night Out” fundraiser featuring a Vintage Vegas theme at 6 p.m. on Friday at the Grass Valley Veterans Memorial Building in Grass Valley.

The event, which features food, entertainment, and an auction, is open to all parents and community members looking for an entertaining evening out that benefits local students.

Entertainment will include world champion juggler and Grass Valley Charter School dad Barry Friedman, who will act as emcee and will guide guests through Vegas-style acts. Performers include magician Nick Federoff, the Bowtie Beauties and Torch Singer Tamara Fouyer, leaving time for folks to peruse the hundreds of auction items donated to the cause. Also featured will be a photo lounge, music, dancing, cocktails and food.

All proceeds from the auction and event support the Grass Valley Charter School Foundation, as well as its physical fitness and wellness programs.

Advance tickets are $20 each or $35 per couple and can be purchased at Grass Valley Charter School, BriarPatch Co-op and the Bookseller. Tickets at the door are $25 each. For more information or to view auction items, visit For more information, call 530-273-8723.
