Center for the Arts announces membership drive prize winners

The 2013 Spring Membership Drive for The Center for the Arts concluded on Saturday. During the course of the membership drive, 326 individuals showed their support for The Center and joined as new or renewing members.

The Grass Valley Chamber of Commerce ambassadors joined elected officials, Center Board members and staff to kick off the membership drive.

Completing the Phase 1 remodeling project are new benefits for patrons; such as the installation of two ticket windows on the front of the building. It is now easy and convenient to purchase or pickup event tickets.

Executive Director Julie Baker did the honors of picking the grand prizewinners. Darlene Grenz won the concert-goers dream prize, two free passes for each event offered by The Center for the next year — over 150 events. Richard and Virginia Cameron won a membership level upgrade giving them even more membership benefits for the next year.

Each week, different sponsors of The Center provided thank-you gift certificates to new members. Christopher’s Old World Deli & Catering, Culture Shock Yogurt, Clocktower Records, Tofanelli’s Gold Country Bistro, Lamb’s Victorian Inn, and Cirino’s at Main Street provided the gifts.

For more information about becoming a member or upcoming events, visit The Center’s website at http://www.thecenterforthearts.org or call 530-274-8384.
