Organizers of this year’s “Empty Bowl” benefit for the hungry and homeless are seeking potters to donate handmade ceramic bowls for the soup supper event, set for March of 2014. Hosted by the Hospitality House Community Shelter, the annual event sells bowls full of soup to as many as 600 people. Guests then keep their bowls, and no two are alike. Potters interested in donating hand-crafted bowls are encouraged to call Karin Givon at 530-478-0313 or email her at potwoman@mcn.org.
