Building a 5-star online reputation for your business

Nevada County Online (NCO) will present an engaging presentation by founder, Brenda Horton from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24 at the Madelyn Helling Library. Horton will give a presentation on how to improve a company’s reputation and online engagement, as well as get reviews and build customers’ trust.

The presentation will provide such topics as “Reasons Why Your Online Presence Sucks,” “The Most Important People You Need On Your Online Marketing Team,”▪ “Why and How You Should Be Asking Your Happy Customers For Five-Star Reviews” and “Real Life Case Studies On How Local Businesses Are Crushing It Online.”

Horton organized the first meetup group in Nevada County in the summer of 2010. She is the president of Hware LLC., a software company that designs productivity tools for entrepreneurs, small businesses, and nonprofits. Hware’s flagship product is http://www.actionplanr.com, a goal-planning tool for “solopreneurs.”



Nevada County online is the largest business meetup group in Nevada County with 372 members. Their website http://www.nevadacountyonline.com/. The “Member Online Services” tab lists all members and their services. NCO is for online beginners and experts and everyone in between. All meetups are open to the public. A $5 donation is requested.
