Bear River High School students, left to right, Savannah Wirth, Catharine Renner, Julia Yoder and Macie Lazalier competed this past weekend in the highly competitive sport of rodeo, at California High School Rodeo’s District 3 in Lincoln. High school students across the state compete monthly at their local districts for points earned for year end awards and the chance to compete at the California State Finals and High School National Finals Rodeo. With an excellent start of the new rodeo season at District 3, these talented students competed with their horses in multiple events including barrel racing, pole bending, goat tying, and breakaway roping. They will continue to compete throughout the 2015-2016 year as they represent their district and the sport of rodeo.
