Bridgeport Fall Festival this Sunday

The South Yuba River Park Association and the South Yuba River State Park invites the community to the Bridgeport Fall Festival from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the South Yuba River State Park.

The annual event will include music by Michael Bremer and Rush Creek, living history characters, hayrides, barn tours, crafts, face painting, gold panning, pumpkin painting and other activities for kids of all ages.

Food and drink will be available from vendors Culture Shock Yogurt, June’s Deli and the Penn Valley Chamber of Commerce.

“The Ghosts of Bridgeport” return to tell their own stories of life along the South Yuba River.

Mark Lyon, the ghost tour guide from Nevada City and Grass Valley, will call on several of the ghosts of the area to tell of their lives in the late 1800s.Bridgeport at the South Yuba River State Park, is on Pleasant Valley Road where it crosses the South Yuba River.
