Bridgeport Fall Festival this Sunday

The annual Bridgeport Fall Festival is set for Oct. 25 at South Yuba River State Park, Bridgeport.

The event, which includes hayrides, gold panning, food and drinks, runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free (parking fee $5).

Special food attractions range from root beer floats to frozen yogurt.



Activities include barn tours, children’s games and crafts, pumpkin painting, music, live birds, a 1930s gas station and a ghosts of Bridgeport reenactment with professional actors for the children to participate in.

Bridgeport is located at 17660 Pleasant Valley Road, Penn Valley.
